There was a time when photographs were precious things to be treasured, carefully tucked away in a box, an old biscuit tin, or a cupboard, waiting to be looked at again.
When I was thinking about a name for this business, I found myself thinking about my mum and dad and the way they used to keep their photographs safely stored in old biscuit tins. Those tins were more than just somewhere to keep photographs — they held memories of family, special occasions, childhood, loved ones and moments that could never be recreated.
It was that thought that inspired the name Biscuit Tins Photos.
For me, the name is a reminder that every old photograph has a story behind it. A moment in time that may have been forgotten, but can come alive again when you hold that photograph in your hands.
From the very beginning, I have loved taking old photographs, videos and other precious memories and bringing them into the digital age. Over the years, I’ve also turned those memories into special gifts and worked with local businesses to create something truly personal for their customers.
But eventually, I realised that I couldn’t spend forever simply converting the memories that people already had. I wanted to help create new memories too — memories that would one day become just as precious.
That’s why Biscuit Tins Photos has grown into more than just preserving the past. It’s about helping people capture the important moments of today and turning them into something that can be treasured for years to come.
Whether it’s a photograph, a special keepsake or a collection of memories carefully placed into a beautiful memory box, the aim is the same — to create something today that future generations can open, hold and remember.
Because one day, today’s memories will become the photographs in someone’s biscuit tin.

My love of photography started as a hobby, inspired by my dad, who was always taking photographs when I was growing up. Over the years, that hobby has grown into something I’m passionate about, and now I’m taking the exciting step of building my photography business.
As I continue to learn, develop and grow as a photographer, I’m keeping my prices affordable. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to have beautiful, professional photographs without having to spend a fortune.
